Website and waitlist

Privacy policy.

How Cura handles your information when you visit this website, join a waitlist or contact the team.

Who is responsible for your information?

Cura is operated by Gabriel Bogomolets, ABN 32 914 709 727, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. In this policy, “Cura” refers to Gabriel Bogomolets operating Cura.

For privacy questions or requests, email info@getcura.com.au or call 0452 622 733.

This policy covers getcura.com.au, the consumer and practitioner waitlists, and related enquiries. It does not cover information handled inside the Cura app or a practitioner service. Joining a waitlist does not create an app account.

Information you provide

You can browse the website without joining a waitlist. When you join, Cura collects the information you enter directly through the form.

Required fields are needed to complete the relevant waitlist registration. Please do not include another person’s personal information, patient details or medical records.

Optional questions and health information

Consumer follow-up questions ask about your goals, gut-health journey, interests, how you heard about Cura and interest in early access. Your answers may reveal health information, which is sensitive personal information. Only share what you are comfortable sharing. These answers help Cura understand what people are looking for; they are not used to diagnose you or provide medical advice.

Practitioner follow-up questions ask whether you are open to a conversation with the Cura team and how you heard about Cura. All follow-up questions are optional. You can leave them blank or select Skip the rest without losing your waitlist place.

Your required details are saved when you select Join waitlist, before optional questions appear. Optional answers are saved when you select Continue, Finish or Skip the rest. Closing or refreshing the form clears unsaved answers from the browser, but does not delete information already saved.

Why Cura uses your information

Cura does not sell waitlist information or use your questionnaire answers for third-party advertising.

Who can access your information?

Saved registration details and questionnaire answers are available to authorised Cura administrators. Cura uses service providers to store registrations, run the website and deliver emails:

Emails you send or receive also pass through the email services used by you and Cura. If you share health information in an email, it becomes part of that correspondence. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where you ask Cura to share it.

Storage and overseas processing

Cura’s waitlist database is hosted in Supabase’s Sydney region. This does not mean all processing stays in Australia. Providers may process technical information, email content, support information or backups in other countries, including the United States. Resend describes processing in the United States, and Vercel operates a global network. Provider locations and subprocessors can change; their privacy information is linked above.

Access controls restrict waitlist records to authorised administrators and the services needed to run the waitlist. Cura uses encrypted connections to transmit form submissions. No internet service can guarantee that information is completely secure.

Website requests, cookies and email delivery

Hosting, font and backend providers receive technical information needed to handle requests, such as an IP address, browser information, request time and requested resource. Cura applies request limits to reduce misuse of the waitlist.

The waitlist keeps form answers and temporary update credentials in browser memory, not in local or session storage, URLs or analytics payloads. If you accept optional cookies, Cura uses PostHog to measure visits, page interactions and waitlist progress using a browser identifier. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, questionnaire answers and temporary update credentials are not sent in analytics events. A signup event records that a new registration was saved, linked through a separate analytics identifier. The website does not use advertising pixels.

PostHog processes this website analytics data in the United States. Analytics includes referring websites and campaign labels, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from technical requests. If session replay is enabled, a sample of recordings shows website navigation. The entire waitlist dialog is blocked from replays; form inputs are masked and network bodies and console messages are not recorded. Unsubscribe and team analytics preference pages are excluded.

Your cookie choice is remembered for six months. Choose Cookie preferences in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics later. Rejection stops future capture and removes analytics browser identifiers; it does not automatically delete previously collected events. You can still browse and join without accepting. Clearing browser storage can remove your preference. See PostHog’s privacy information.

Cura records email sending and delivery status, including delivery failures, bounces and complaints. Waitlist emails do not use open or click tracking. The Instagram link opens Instagram; choosing to follow or interact there is governed by Instagram’s own privacy practices.

Unsubscribing from a waitlist

Use the Unsubscribe link in a waitlist email, then confirm on the webpage. This stops future recipient emails for the list associated with that link. If you joined both lists, the other list is unchanged. An email already being sent may still arrive. Cura does not send a separate unsubscribe confirmation email.

Unsubscribing records your preference; it does not delete your registration, questionnaire answers or email delivery history. Submitting the same signup form again does not automatically resubscribe you. If you cannot use your link, or want to discuss joining again, contact info@getcura.com.au.

How long information is kept

Cura currently retains waitlist registrations and saved answers while managing interest in the service, including after an unsubscribe. Email delivery history and unsubscribe preferences are retained to manage communications and avoid sending further emails to an unsubscribed registration. There is no automatic expiry or deletion schedule for these waitlist records.

Analytics and sampled replays are kept according to Cura’s configured PostHog project retention settings. Contact Cura for the current retention period or to request removal of linked analytics. Deleting a waitlist record alone does not automatically delete historical analytics.

You can ask Cura to delete your information at any time. Cura will review the request and explain if any information needs to be retained, for example to honour an unsubscribe preference or meet a legal obligation. Provider logs and backups may remain for their own retention periods after a record is removed from Cura’s active records.

Access, corrections and deletion requests

Email info@getcura.com.au to request a copy of your information, correct an answer, withdraw permission to use optional health information or request deletion. Include the email address you used and which list your request concerns. Please avoid sending medical records or identity documents unless Cura specifically needs further information to handle your request.

Cura may ask you to verify your identity before sharing or changing a record. Cura will respond within a reasonable time, explain any information needed to process the request and give reasons if a request cannot be fully met.

Privacy complaints

If you are concerned about how Cura has handled your information, contact Gabriel Bogomolets at info@getcura.com.au or 0452 622 733. Explain what happened and the outcome you would like. Cura will review the concern, seek any details needed to investigate and respond with the outcome and any proposed steps.

If the concern remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about your options and its complaint process.

Changes to this policy

Cura will update this page when its website or waitlist information practices change. The date above identifies the current version. If a change affects how existing information is used, Cura will provide any additional notice or seek consent where required.
